What brought you to Triumph Fitness?
In a few words, many gentle nudges and a few hard shoves
to get my health back on track.
What are you working on now?
I am working on continued weight loss to eliminate
another medication, and improve my strength.
What’s been your biggest accomplishment?
My beginning day of boot camp was a big accomplishment.
Finishing boot camp as the challenge winner was a big accomplishment. Continuing my journey with this amazing place and uplifting supportive community of members is a big accomplishment. But to date, my biggest accomplishment is fitting into a size of jeans that I haven't been able to wear since high school!
What’s your favorite Triumph Fitness memory?
The day of my graduation from Boot Camp. I don't think anyone could have prepared me for the shock of learning that I won the challenge, or how many inches I had lost. I learned a lot about myself, my resolve, and how deeply determined I am to take care of myself.
What motivates you to continue training at Triumph Fitness?
Everyone at Triumph keeps me motivated. The support and occasional butt kicking, quiet understanding of an internal struggle I might be having and the reminders to have patience make me look forward to cheering on my partners, learning new things, making new friends, and being a part of something bigger than just "going to the gym". I arrive bleary eyed and barely awake, I always leave smiling because it means I am another day closer to reaching my goals!
